Jen Jackson is a filmmaker and writer from Bend, Oregon. Before moving back to Oregon in 2018 to start filming what would become Acceptable Fallout, she was a newspaper reporter in Northern New York. Jen graduated from the University of Oregon's School of Journalism in 2016, when she first became involved with the Micronesian community in Oregon. She hopes to translate her ground up approach to journalism, and experience creating media with community engagement, into future filmmaking. Jen enjoys art and photography, lake swimming and double roasted milk tea, and is a collector of hobbies and travel mishaps.

Brian Molongoski…

Brian Molongoski is a filmmaker and writer who traded the East Coast for the West Coast in 2018, when he moved to Oregon to kickstart his filmmaking career. Acceptable Fallout is his first documentary film, born out of five years of being involved in the Marshallese community in the Pacific Northwest. Before coming to Oregon, Brian worked as a political reporter for a daily newspaper in his home state of New York. Brian continues to make video content about Pacific Islanders. While his career is focused on telling true stories about our world, he spends a lot of his free time traversing his own imagination as an aspiring screenwriter.
